Jason offered to take me to a concert even though I can’t do things independently, knowing that it would require him helping me. After that night, we’ve done something together once a month for the past year. We meet at the Rialto, or an event, art show, he helps me navigate the theater and walks me to my car after. These may seem like small things, but a lot of people are not willing to do this. It’s helped my mental health.”
